FORCES UNIT
This week, students will continue to learn about balanced and unbalanced forces, inertia, and Newton's 1st Law of Motion. There will be a quiz in class on Wednesday. Students will complete a lab using spring scales to measure the force needed to overcome friction on several different surfaces. Students will then learn about elastic forces and participate in a lab demonstrating tension and compression.

Monday (3/5): WS pg. 13 & 19; Study for quiz
Tuesday (3/6): Finish inertia stations lab; Study for quiz
Wednesday (3/7): Quiz today! No homework
Thursday (3/8): Finish friction lab; Retake quiz at lunch
Friday (3/9): WS pg. 20 & 14
