We will start the week learning about the pH scale. During a lab on Tuesday, students will use pH strips to measure the pH of 14 solutions and determine if they are acidic, basic, or neutral. The next few lessons will introduce students to the chemistry of living systems, focusing on the importance of carbon and water.
